All That Is Solid…
28th September to 17 November 2001
London Print Studio Gallery, 425 Harrow Road, London, W10 4RE
All That Is Solid… was an exhibition that looked at the role of “The Still Life” within contemporary arts practice. It was the second in a series of exhibitions entitled PRINTED SPACE at London Print Studio Gallery. It showed the work of seven artists, who at different levels, engaged with the de-materialisation of the object, mechanical reproduction, and the nature of the physical object in everyday life. All That Is Solid… raised questions about the changing effects of time upon the material object, and the transformations that all matter goes through over time.
